Content:
- Defining and highlighting the importance of intercultural awareness and social competence when working with people of different cultural backgrounds within a variety of business contexts
- Core topics: dimensions of cultural diversity in international contexts
- Case studies detailing authentic business experience from a variety of countries
Intended learning outcomes
Students will be able to:
- explore cultural self-awareness, other culture awareness, and the dynamics in intercultural interaction
- analyze how communication processes differ across cultures
- identify and explain challenges that arise from these differences in intercultural interactions
- creatively address these challenges using the discussed dimensions.
